Yay google ...

Change font sizes within the Fonts window on Mac

  1. In an app on your Mac, choose Format > Show Fonts or Format > Font > Show Fonts.
  2. In the Fonts window, click the Action pop-up menu , choose Edit Sizes, then do any of the following: Add a font size: Type a new size, then click the Add button . ...
  3. Click Done.

The Turbotax software has no such tab called “Font” and I cannot see how to change it.  The font is very small.

You do not say what OS you have for your Mac.   Try this on your Mac----go to Settings on your Mac, then go down to Displays   Do you see four choices for the size of the texts that you can pick from?

I have Sequoia 15.1.1.  I am not looking to increase the size of the fonts on all applicationa, just for Turbotax desktop version.  There is nothing under the Settings/Displays which allows me to change the size of the font.

I am using Sonoma on my Mac and I have the ability to change the text size in Displays on my Mac.   I do so for everything since I have some vision issues.  But is easy to do and could be done just for working on TT if I wanted to.   You might want to ask Siri how to change the text size on your Mac with Sequoia.   It can be done.

Sort of. The Displays setting changes the scale of the screen in its entirety, so there is less information displayable at once on the screen. This is far less flexible than just increasing font size which would just affect the TT window(s). Having more space on the screen is important when doing taxes since we're typically searching for information from lots of sources.

Please consider the rest of this message an enhancement request!

Another option might be to add a way to scale up the TT windows in their entirety (independent of font) which would be more helpful than scaling up the whole screen and would eliminate any issues with field sizes versus font sizes. Also, most of the time when I want to increase the font, I only need a small change to make it a lot clearer. So small incremental changes would be nice.  Thanks!

The posted solution is not a solution for TurboTax running on the Sequoia. Suggest you unmark this contribution as a solution.
