You can change an answer by going back to the area in which it was answered in TurboTax and revising if your return is still in progress. You can revisit certain areas of TurboTax, by using the search feature.
For example, if you needed to change an amount on a W-2 you entered, you would
- Login to your TurboTax online account
- Click Take me to my return or pick up where I left off
- In the search box (located in the upper right hand corner), type in W-2
- Click the Jump to W-2 link that appears in the search results.
- This will take you to the area that has all the W-2's that were entered. You would revise any entries by clicking edit next to the W-2
- You can Jump to many different areas of TurboTax using these directions and by replacing the search entry can edit your entries.
