I found the answer to this. Apparently TurboTax doesn't like it if you have some special characters in your password for your financial institution. :(

I found this information here:
https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899399-unable-to-import-1099-despite-using-correct-login
"your financial institution's password contains special characters like $ % &".

I don't know exactly which special characters are not allowed as one password had an ! in it and that was ok, but ones I had with #, &, and $ didn't work.

This is very disappointing but if you change your password to something without special characters, you'll be able to do the import. Then you can change it back later.

WOW - thanks!!  I only had two special characters << two exclamations !! >> but that was the trick.  Letters and numbers only!

I am having trouble also.  Credentials work on MS website.  No special characters.  I sold RSU stock.  Would that be why I can't upload?  Seems odd......

I get the message "1099 forms not available for user id"

I already printed my forms so I know they are available.  Just wanted to see how they would import.

You may need to change your security settings from within your Morgan Stanley account. To do this log into your Morgan Stanley account and then go to the Security Center section. Select the option to Enable Third-Party Access.

Next, log back into TurboTax and try to import your information again.

Please see this TurboTax Help Article for more information.  How can I fix my 1099 import issue?

This maybe *a problem* but the special character use in passwords was *my* problem. Removing these allowed TurboTax to connect to my account with Morgan Stanley At Work.

This is 100% a Intuit Turbotax issue that the programming staff *should fix* as not being able to use special character violates many best practices with setting, and using, strong passwords.
