Getting HELP is becoming IMPOSSIBLE for PAYING CUSTOMERS

I PURCHASE boxed copies of TurboTax, and have for many , many years. I pay the bills. But I cannot get help.

Hung up on by auto-bots, diverted, mistreated, misguided - by auto bots. It certainly does make the idea of paying a tax accountant to do this seem appealing. I cannot reach tech support calling [phone number removed].

It does not want to let me in, it wants to text me help articles.

All because each year, for the last 3 years, the activation codes in the boxed copies have not activated my product. So after several call attempts, total time spent is typically 2 hours, I eventually get a working copy.

But I cannot go on being mistreated this way. It is as if TurboTax Intuit wants only to do free tax returns for

simple situations, and ignore paying customers. I have always done my own taxes, for 40 plus years now. Having someone else do them seems, odd. And my rental properties and investments do just fine, when I can actually get the product activated.

I need help activating my boxed copy. Because again, like last year and the year before that, it fails to activate.

Purchased at a Sam's Club, in California, sealed .

So sorry you are experiencing these problems. I have also found it far more difficult to reach knowledgeable representatives by phone this season. This could be related to Covid. My experiences are hit or miss. There are some very experienced agents who are patient and helpful. Yet, there are others who seem to be new "hires" still in training. One agent had no clue as to how to save a tax file. She said I'd have to pay $149 for expert tax advice and transferred the call.
