Form 8949 box does not match 1099-B.

After I enter the data from 1099-B for Form 8949, Part I (B). I found turbotax fulfills Part I (C) in Form 8949. I cannot change the box C to box B directly Form 8949. Also, in the input panel for 1099B, there is also no way for me to select box B. What should I do?

It depends. We'd love to help you complete your tax return, but need more information. Can you please clarify your question?

Are you referring to the boxes shown below?

(A) Short-term transactions reported on Form(s) 1099-B showing basis was reported to the IRS (see Note above)

(B) Short-term transactions reported on Form(s) 1099-B showing basis wasn’t reported to the IRS

(C) Short-term transactions not reported to you on Form 1099-B

Thanks DianeW777 for the response. Yes, I was discussing the selection of the check boxes for A), B) and C). I found a way to resolve the issue by bypassing the user interface of inputing 1099-B, and selecting box B) directly in the 1099-B worksheet.
