Form 8814 not available

Why is it going to take a month and a half to get form 8814 (available 3/31) into turbo tax? It's available on the IRS website and I ran my taxes through another service and am able to efile now. I want to stay with turbo tax but waiting for that long for my return might make me switch.

A note to turbotax: every child that gets an Alaska PFD will have this same problem. And all this to pay $1 in tax per child. So in my case, a form to let me pay $5 in taxes is going to keep a lot of money in the government's hands for weeks longer than they should have it. Gotta be a way to do this more quickly

Agreed. I don't understand why Turbotax needs until Mar 31 to update a relatively simple form. This is a very common form. This leaves me 2 weeks to finish my federal and state forms. I've been using Turbo Tax for years, but this can really make me switch next year.

Intuit needs to prioritize this. Are there other options to manually enter the data or something. Being this late on a commonly used form is really unacceptable.
