Form 8453

Form 8453 is supported by all versions of TurboTax so it should be generated automatically for you to mail with the documents that must be mailed separately when you efile a return.

i have 5 or 6 separate forms 1099B, so that means I have to mail a lot of paper to the IRS. 

That takes away from the convenience of E filing. 

I will do what I did last year and mail a hard copy of my return to the IRS. That seemed to work.

You should be aware that the IRS is currently not processing any mailed returns so there is no way to know how long it will take the IRS to process your return. You may have the same delay with efiling if they won't process it without the forms you must mail it.
