In 2025, I purchased a qualifying heat pump. TurboTax ask: "Did you pay for a home energy audit of your main U.S. home and receive a written report from certified auditor?" My home was audited, and I got a written report from the certified auditor. However, the cost of this audit was covered by my installer and was included in the overall cost of the heat pump. So what amount do I enter when it asks me in the next section the cost for the "Home energy audits by a certified home energy auditor"? It won't let me enter $0, and I don't have a seperate cost listed for this as it was rolled into the overall cost. So, now what?????
