Form 5498

I received a Form 5498 (IRA Contribution Information) but did not receive a Form 1099-R.

Is there anything I need to do on my 2021 tax return?

I understand that Form 5498 is an informational form only and it is not entered on a tax return.

My wife also received a Form 5498, however she also received a related 1099-R.

Should I have received a related 1099-R also?

If you did not receive a distribution from your retirement account in 2021 you will not receive a Form 1099-R.
