Form 1310

Trying to file return for deceased sister. I completed form 1310 online in TurboTax, but can't file because after review it comes up and tells me that form 1310 will be ready soon, what am I waiting for?

Form 1310 should be finalized and included in the program on 3/3/2022.

Who's drivers license information is needed, deceased or person claiming the refund?

The form 1310 does not ask for drivers license information. Filing a tax return requires a license for the taxpayer on the return in several states.

The IRS has a quick  How Do I File a Deceased Person program. It is very detailed and may give you additional information.

I am very sorry for your loss.

TurboTax does request that information for the return, itself, which should be the individual who is actually filing the return.
