foreign scholarships

I received foreign scholarships/grants while studying in a foreign country. I understand that they need to be reported as income but believe they qualify for the foreign earned income exclusion as taxes were taken out of them in the foreign country. How do I report this on my return?

You will need to report the foreign tax in the foreign tax credit section of TurboTax.

Enter foreign tax credit in the Search box at the top of the screen and click Jump to.
