Filing jointly 1095 A is shared

My spouse and I are married filing jointly. We received our 1095 A and both of our information is on it. When I add the 1095 A it tells me to select the person it is for. I tried to go forward by selecting one of our names but it doesn't give me an opportunity to say it's for both of us. It only asks if it's shared with someone NOT on the return. How do i add it to reflect it is for both of us?

Unless you have two different policies, you will only get one 1095-A.

  • The owner's name is in box 4.
  • The  spouse is listed in box 7.

The name in Box 4 is the one to post to the form.
