Filing 1099-C for dependent

My dependent is disabled. We have already filed she has no other income besides SSI. Do I need to file her 1099-C or does she need to file it since her income is below 15,000.00 and the amount of debt cleared is under $1300.00.

No, if that was her only income she would not have a filing requirement.  You correctly stated that a dependent must file a tax return if their unearned income is more than $1,300.

She also received a 1099- NEC for only $1012.00 would this need to be filed then?

Since she received $1,012 on a Form 1099-NEC, which is the form used to report self-employment income, she would be required to file is she $400 or more in self-employment net earnings.

Do I need to file a federal return this year?

How do I enter a 1099-C?

What's a 1099-NEC?

She received a 1099-C for $1201.66, also a 1099-NEC FOR $1012.00 and disability SSI Income. Do we need to report these on my return or does she need to file her own?

She must file her own tax return. This income was earned by her and is not part of your income.

Her self employment income requires her to file (Form 1099-NEC) to show any expenses that she might have that will reduce the gross income. As indicated by @LeticiaF1 enter the 1099-C using the link provided: How do I enter a 1099-C?

Enter your self employment income and expenses by using the link below. Expenses will also be available for her to use if she has any.

You must start a new account for her if you are using TurboTax Online (only one return per account).  You can add another return (up to 5) if you are using TurboTax Desktop.
