File Extension with different Software

Hello,

 

I filled an extension back in April with Free Tax USA. It was what was available at that moment since I was abroad. I will like to know if I can file my taxes with Turbo tax even though I have filled a tax extension with a different company.

File your tax return with any software you want to use.   You are not obligated to use the same software that you used when you requested the extension.    Just make sure that you enter the amount that you paid when you sent in the extension request.
