Hi,
I recently purchased a Mercedes Benz EQB 300 on Dec 16th 2023 and i see it qualifies for $7500 EV tax credit. I wanted to know if i need any documentation from dealership apart from filling form 8936 during tax filing. Is the VIN number itself enough for IRS or they need the dealer to report or send anything else. Its a newbie question so i may have not added as many details in my question . I can clarify as needed.
