ESPP - 1099 does not include discount

Hi, my 1099 for ESPP does not include the discount (my employer calls it company match). So let's say I paid $100 and my employer gave me $115 worth stocks, my 1099 shows the cost basis as $115.  So I think I dont need to adjust cost basis.

TT asks if this is ESPP and then shows me the questionnaire to put adjusted cost basis. Should I just ignore that? Will TT cause problems during review? How do I handle this?

1. Correct. Sometimes an employer does give the brokerage the right information. You can add any expenses to purchase or sell to your basis.

2. Yes, you can leave the adjust box blank.

3. You should not have a problem. If so, try a zero instead of blank. The program has preferences in different areas.
