error code 605

I installed turbotax business in January and prepared my W-2 and 1099 foms with no problem.  Now I am trying to use it to prepare my corporate tax return and it says "this account has a license code" but when I click on "activate" I get "the license code you entered is not valid error code 605"   The license code on the screen is absolutely the correct code. How can I get this to work.  I have to file the extensions in 2 days.

Error code 605 in TurboTax typically indicates a few possible errors related to the license code. Here are some reasons and solutions:

 

  1. TurboTax license codes can be used on up to five computers per the TurboTax Desktop Software End User License Agreement for Tax Year 2024. If you've already used the code on five devices,  you'll need to contact TurboTax support for assistance.
  2. Sometimes, updates can cause activation problems. Ensure your TurboTax software is fully updated.
  3. The code you entered might be incorrect or no longer valid. Double-check the code and ensure you're entering it exactly as it appears on your CD insert or download receipt.

The code I interred is correct but is still reads error code 605.
