Started TT 2022 @ noon central time and the TT downloaded the latest update and the state software without issue. So, it appears the error 42016 is resolved.
Although I'm happy they resolved the issue, I went a week without being able to use the software and now the tax returns are due tomorrow. As well as the 12+ hours I spent trying to resolve the issue since I didn't know the issue was actually 100% on TT.
It sounds like your customers turbotax software was able to patch itself. I thought maybe we would have to re download the entire setup again once the code was updated. I did have a few of those error codes today.

I'm still getting Error 42016 when trying to update federal forms and downloading state forms.
Tried on two separate computers with windows 11.
Tried entirely disabling windows Firewall.
Can someone from Turbotax confirm if this is indeed a server side error, and if it has been resolved?
