Enter W-2

I had no problem manually entering my W-2. But when I try to enter husband's, It will not let my type anything in after the Employer ID is entered.

Are you getting an error or is it a blank screen?

 

Please try the following steps to see if it will allow you to proceed with your filing:

 

  • Log completely out of Turbo Tax. 
  • Then, clear your cache and cookies within your browser and completely close out of it.  I have included the Help Articles below if you need assistance with clearing cache or cookies. 
  • Re-open the browser and log back into Turbo Tax and see if this fixes the situation.  
    • You can also try a different browser as well, or "incognito mode".  

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, please reach back out here in the thread and someone will follow up with the next steps.

...or are you entering the employer ID on the very first page...the one that searches for a download?

 

IF that is the case...Don't put in his employer's ID on that first page.

Hit the "Change how I enter my form" instead, and go thru the steps after that to manually enter his data.
