I claimed the eitc and turbo taxe gave me an estimated date of 7th I received my state about 10 days after! Then about a week later turbo sent me an email saying they got the dates mixed up and if anyone claimed these credits they wouldn't see a return until March 3 because the IRS WOULD NOT START LOOKING AT OURS UNTIL FEB 22 smh so no money for my birthday on the 14th

Returns that include refundable credits such as Earned Income Credit will be held until at least February 15, due to the PATH Act of 2015. It's possible that your refund can be issued before March 3, but the IRS generally won't start processing these returns until next week.
