editing forms/schedules directly

How do you edit a form or schedule in TURBOTAX CD version

For Windows, you go into Forms mode (Upper right).

 

Navigate to the field you want. Try to enter the value you want. 

 

If you cannot enter it, then right-mouse click on the field, and choose Override. Now you can enter the amount or text.

 

NOTE: using Override can void the Tax Accuracy Guarantee, so be very sure that you want to do this.

 

Sorry, I don't know about the Mac platform, but I hope the process is similar.

Fyi:

 

Holding down the Control (Ctrl) key on your keyboard when you click a mouse button is the equivalent of a right-click on a two-button mouse. The Control key performs the same modifying function when you press down on a MacBook's built-in trackpad or an Apple Magic Trackpad while holding the key down.
