If you click inside a numerical entry field in a Form, you can edit it, even though the word Override in the Edit menu is grayed out (I just tried this on my Mac).
Entering data in the EasyStep interview is recommended wherever possible. Use caution in overriding entries directly in a Form, as this could invalidate the terms of the 100% Accurate Calculation Guarantee.
Tried what you said several time sea don't able to enter the amount or text
How were you able to enter a number on a locked form? I'm trying to fill out Schedule 1, Line 24, where I need to enter a dollar amount, along with a description in the field to the left explaining the type and amount. It's not letting me enter anything in that section.
I have the same problem. I have premier on Mac and I cannot edit any of the forms.
In theory, I'm supposed to be able to do that, but in reality, the Mac version of the form software is locked, no double-clicking or anything else works. I've been on the phone with TurboTax support, and they can't help. They keep reading from their documentation, insisting that yes, I should be able to do this.
MonikaK1 are you with Turbotax? and if so, can you help?
