E-filing and Form 8938

I have been using H&R Block. It won't allow me more than 3 Copies of Form 8938 if I E-File.   I have 5 deposit/custodial accounts.

Will Turbotax Deluxe downloaded s/w allow me to E-File with 5 copies of Form 8938?

We are not aware of a limitation on this form for e-file.  Perhaps some other users may chime in if they have experienced differently.

There is currently a limitation on e-filing the Form 8398 when the box is checked indicating that one more more assets is reported, instead, on 3520 (foreign trusts or gifts received) since 3520 is not supported by TurboTax at this time.

Many thanks for your response, M/s Susan @SusanY1!      I'll look to hear from any Clients who has experience of a limitation of the # of Copies of 8938 that can be input.    I have 5 to input.    HRBlock won't allow >3.

Thanks, also, i'd seen that use of 3520 negates e-filing with 8938.

Best, George

Hi George - Curious to know how you overcame the issue? Did you have to paperfile or were you able to efile with your 5 accounts on 8938. Thank you so much for sharing

Hello,

Can someone confirm if  Turbo Tax allows electronic filing of more than three Form 8938, or do we have to print out the whole Federal return and separately print out (more than) three Form 8938, and snail mail submit them?

Thanks

We are not aware of a limitation on this form for e-file except when e-filing the Form 8398 when the box is checked indicating that one more more assets is reported, instead, on 3520 (foreign trusts or gifts received). Form 3520 is not supported by TurboTax at this time.
