Drivers License info

For some stranger reason, Turbo Tax kept telling me my driver's license info was reversed but it wasn't. E-File still went through though. I once had my license renewed because I lost it, so the issue date was different from original issue date, but I checked twice, and the issue date and expiration date were input correctly.

Any idea why Turbo Tax said they were input reversed?

Thanks

We cannot see what you entered.   The way the questions are asked sometimes confuses users and you have to pay close attention to whether you are being asked for the issue date or the expiration date.

You are not required to enter drivers license information to e-file a federal return--it just adds some  extra security.  So you were still able to e-file.  Some states are very picky, and entering incorrect drivers license information can interfere with e-filing the state.
