Why I can't set the Choose Direct Debit Date go pass April 15 2020 like July 13 2020 but I can choose to mail the check before July 15 2020 from the How Do you Pay your Federal Tax screen . Is this a software bug or Turbo tax dictates that?
The new filing and payment deadlines were announced about a week ago. The IRS and all of the tax software has to undergo changes that take time to update those deadlines in the software. Please be patient until it can be updated---it is a complex change.

just choose efile and that you'll mail in the check. Then in July you can mail the check or just make the payment at the IRS website.
The Direct Debit Date is fixed as today 03/27/2020 at 1:00CST
