Different refund amount

My federal refund amount was listed as $249, state as $44. I received a deposit of $114 on the 9th. I checked my transcript & turbo tax to make sure I didn’t owe any more fees. Both still say $249. Where is the rest of my refund?

Who was the $114 deposit from?  That sounds like the fees for Deluxe plus the $40 (45 in California) Pay with Refund service charge.  Did you have the fees deducted from your refund or pay them with a credit card?

Did you use a paid version of TurboTax and choose to pay the fees by having them deducted from your federal refund?

First you need to check the IRS refund site to see if your refund was issued, and look to see how much they issued.

Your tax refund was not sent to TurboTax.   TurboTax does not handle your refund at all.

Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, LLC  (SBTPG) is the bank that handles the Refund Processing Service when you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your refund. This option also has an additional charge from the bank that processes the transaction.

You can contact them SBTPG, toll-free, at 1-877-908-7228 or go to their secure website www.sbtpg.com
