it depends. Not all states allow for separate move dates for each spouse. As long as the correct income is taxed by Maryland (MD) that's what matters. Of course Texas (TX) does not have income tax so for that state it's unnecessary.
MD will provide screens to enter the income that should be taxed. Confirm that and you can file the return without concern.
