Delete an entry

HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I have finished my taxes, Turbo Tax will not let me file without making a change. The change is on the schedule C line 27b. Right now it has ( 0. ) which is correct. It should be a 0 or nothing at all. It will not let me delete any of it. The area stays RED.  I'm at my wits in. Oh, I'm using windows 10, desktop version.

Click on Forms.  In Forms mode, located the Form 7205 on the left side of the screen.  Click on the form to open.  Click on Delete Form at the bottom of the screen.  See if that removes the 0 from the Schedule C Line 27b.

There is not a 7205 to click on.... It does have my schedule C with and (!) in RED beside it. I clicked on that, it does bring up that form but still doesn't let me delete.

If you are able to edit the 27b box, can you remove the 0 and leave it blank (empty)

OK... Try this.  On the left side of the forms mode screen you should have Schedule C Worksheet (Wks).  Open the worksheet and scroll down to the bottom of the sheet.  On the section Qualified Energy Efficient Buildings, is there an amount entered for L27b?  If so delete the amount.

The box is RED. It goes from red to blue but will not let me delete the (0.) when it's red or blue

I tried.... does not let me delete the 0. It says I can delete my schedule C. I'm not doing that. I have working on these taxes for hours.

Is this your first year of self-employment income and expenses or have you transferred the information from Schedule C from the 2023 return to the 2024 return?

If this is the first year, I would just delete the Schedule C and start over with the self-employment section.

Sorry, out messages crossed paths.  So do not delete the Schedule C.

No, this is not my first year.  I didn't even put anything there to being with.

When I enter an amount in the Schedule C worksheet for Line 27b, it automatically transfers that amount to the Schedule C and the Line 27b box is Red.  When I remove the amount from the worksheet it automatically changes the Line 27b box to clear.

I know I've seen how to delete 0 in a line.  Thought I had a note for it .  Are you on Windows?  In Forms Mode, try doing a right click on the zero and add supporting Details.  That will open a box.  At the top is Remove.
