Deductions

I have a retirement deduction and earned some money back. Though when I try to finish and file it says I have to upgrade in order to continue because of the retirement deduction. Is there a way I can do this without having to upgrade? The upgrade fee is way more than the retirement credit.

Yes, go to:

Federal>deductions and credits>
Retirement and Investments>Retirement Savings Credit
As it goes through the qualifications questions, answer these in such a way that you do not qualify for the credit even though you do. This will then disqualify you from receiving the credit.
