Corrected 1099-R advice needed

I received a corrected 1099-R with the corrected (and correct) version showing $0 distributed.  When downloading from my provider (LPL Financial), this $0 1099-R is included with other 1099 documents.  From a "tax perspective", am I OK to deleted this corrected $0 1099-R or do I need to include this in my completed tax package?

Take a close look at the corrected Form 1099-R to be sure what changed on the form to make it a 'corrected' form.  If you see no changes as compared to your original Form 1099-R which would have been replaced by the corrected version, then you are safe to delete the 'corrected' Form 1099-R.

If there was any change between the forms, then you should be sure that the change is reflected in the forms that you file.  Then you would delete the original Form 1099-R, not the corrected one.

Also, be sure to go through the follow-up questions again if there is an actual correction being made.
