So my parents are getting charged 2800$ because I claimed my taxes and they said I didn’t make enough money on my taxes therefore they are getting charged is that possible?

If you qualify as your parents' dependent, it sounds like you should have given them a shot at it. Of course, if you are entitled to receive a $1200 stimulus check you may be out of that if they claim you as their dependent. However, if they are supporting you financially you are getting a lot of money from them anyway. You could talk with them about it and may want to consider honoring their request. If you already filed, you could consider filing an amended return not claiming yourself. There is a place on your return asking if you qualify as someone else's dependent. Talk with your parents about it and come to an agreement.

how much was your income?  if over $4200, they could not claim you (unless you were under 24 years old and a full time student)

can you please describe your situation a little? age? student? living at home? income?

So I made 4924.32$ and I’m 18 and I live at home with my parents and I claimed my taxes and today my parents tried to do their taxes and they told my parents that they owe 2800 because I had claimed my taxes and didn’t make enough

as long as you are not a full time student, your parents can not claim you on their taxes because your income exceeded $4200.   You are eligible to receive the $1200 stimulus payment.

if you were a full time student in 2019, then your income doesn't matter.  Your parents can claim you.  and you would need to check the box that someone else can claim you when filling out your tax return. You are not eligible for the stimulus payment (and neither are your parents able to get the $500 stimulus for you as you are over the age of 16)
