Unfortunately, you are unable to change your payment date in Turbo Tax once you filed your return and it has been accepted but you can cancel it and then make other payment arrangements. You need to contact your State directly to do this.

Every State has a different contact, so please use this link to find the contact information for your State:

To verify your selected direct debit date:

    Sign into your account
    Select Taxes
    My Tax Timeline
Scroll down to Some things You can Do
Select Download all forms and worksheets
Open the pdf file, and scroll for the Federal Information Worksheet. Part V contains the Direct Deposit/Debit info

If you did not specify a date for a direct debit for your taxes, then the default date is the due date of your return.

For Colorado I was told they can not cancel the payment or stop it in any way. I was told by dept of Revenue that the only way to stop it would be through your financial institution however you will received a $41.00 fee for cancelling the payment -or a stop check fee I believe is what he said.
