Cannot submit my return due to a requested fix about a state form which has grammar issues. after checking for typos and correcting any i still get the same message?

from tc-40w (1): withholding ID number must be 14 characters long without hyphens.
even after double checking i am locked out of submitting my return even though i've already paid turbotax.

@mattubus

Likely a Utah ID Number?

The final three letters must be lower case "wth"  (without the quotes) on all forms where the Utah number has been used.

________________________________________________

Go back to the original entry in the federal section..

...delete the whole number and text

........THEN...click in any other box to make Utah field is clear.

............THEN...return to the Utah ID number box and retype it all with numbers, and the final wth in lower case.

.................then click in another box and read the number again to make sure it's correct.

then work your way out....go that he state section to run thru it's error checks again
