Can't resolve error code 65535 with turbotax deluxe 2016

That is an error code that you get when there is an installation error. Try re-installing the software and restart your computer.

If that does not work, go here https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/3206604 for more solutions to get this resolved. Be sure to follow the steps exactly so that you can fix the error.

2016 Turbo Tax Deluxe  Windows 7 sp1  HP Pavillion m7 laptop  To get installation to complete, I had to change permissions on folders ProgramData/Intuit.  Don't know what they should be, but install completed with TrustedInstaller as owner and full control (find user trustedinstaller  by typing  nt service\trustedinstaller ).  Installing as Admin and Admin has full control of those folders also.  And thanks to the blogger who lead me to do this somewhere in my millions of searches.  Turbo Tax tech support after 3 hours had no solution.

The following error came us in attempting to install TurboTax16.  TurboTax16 had run before during the tax season.

'_Imx.CINORTCELGNILF_PE_petsysae_lacl_tib23_grnerepw' can nor be installed because the file can not be found in cabinet file TurboTax.cab.
