can't load/install 2019 TurboTax CD

Every time I insert the CD...it reads for a minute or two and then stops with popup window "insert a disc".

I cannot view the files contained on CD using Windows 10 file manager, it ejects.

When "insert disc" popup is shown, it does NOT disappear when disc is inserted.

Followed the instructions to turn off virus protection, and disconnected internet, with same result.

Tried the Windows System File Checker tool, same result.

Checked that the drive was functioning by loading a different software CD...it works and files visible.

Wasted too much time already...can't believe I am only one with this problem.

If you see a message that says "We can't find an answer to your issue", please click the "Try Something Else" drop down. Once you fill out the form you will be given a service ticket number and a phone number to contact customer care.

there is no obvious fix to the "can't load from CD"...but calling customer service allowed a free download from their site..it worked

I would like to download my premier turbotax from the internet - I have put my password in about 10 times and it's been rejected 2 or 3 times. I want to get this thing finished w/o screwing around w/ having to put my password & userid in again - can you make that happen?

I have put disc into my computer a light comes on for a few seconds then nothing. I just purchased turbotax home & business I have windows 8.1. I have used 2016-2018 with no problem. Can you please help?

I just bought Turbo Tax 2020 disc and it will not load and install. It says disc is blank. This might be the last year I buy Turbo Tax!!!

When I load the Turbotax CD I get a message "detected windows update in progress"  I can either cancel the loading or wait.  I try to wait and nothing ever happens.  What gives???

You can start try restarting your computer to see if it will complete the updating process.
