Can’t file state return CT

Hello I just efiled my federal return but it’s saying that the state is not ready.

Your federal and state returns are almost ready
We're working on some updates due to law changes. We've saved your work and will email you as soon as everything's ready.

Is this going to affect my federal return? It also said CT 1040 is what is holding it up. Thank you for any help you can give.

Yes. Connecticut is not ready to file in TurboTax. The expected ready date for most Connecticut forms is Jan. 26.

For the latest update see Connecticut Individual Form Availability.

Yes but now I have another problem. When I get to the last page it just goes blank and doesn’t move on. It’s like the page freezes. So I can’t finish filing the state.

I finally got it to work. I had to use a laptop instead of my phone. My federal just got accepted yesterday so hopefully I get my direct deposit soon. Thanks for the help.

Connecticut forms are not ready for e-filing. TurboTax expects Connecticut to be ready soon.

You can check the following link  Connecticut Individual Form Availability for the latest updates.

In a response to the question "How do I e-file my state after I already filed my federal?", on 13-Jan-23 it was stated that "you'll have to wait until that (Federal) return has been accepted before you can e-file your state."  My Federal return was accepted early this morning (07-Mar-23), but I still cannot efile my NY state return.  Any suggestions?  SMF (desktop MAC version)

Please see this Turbo Tax help article for more information.

How do I e-file my state after I already filed my federal?

It's possible the form is not available. Please see this Turbo Tax FAQ on State forms availability for personal use.

Turbo Tax Desk Top 2023 Version will not print Connecticut State Forms. Turbo Tax is up to date, all patches are downloaded and all forms are ready but it still will not print. Your program has a bug in it. When will this be fixed.

I already tried to delete and re enter all of my tax information. This is very frustrating.

Sometimes the form is ready and available for e-filing, but not for printing. Please be patient and check back in a couple days to see if you can print.

This is a terrible solution. I need to be able to print before I file and I think most people will feel this way if they have any financial acumen.  You need to fix this.

Thank you for the posts. I am experiencing the same printing issue with the desktop version where Connecticut CT-1040 2023 are unable to be printed. Due to my parents passing I need to file by mail & require print outs to proceed. This issue has put my returns on hold awaiting the ability to print. I called support & it appears that I have to be patient for the printable forms to be part of a software update. Appreciate anyone that posts updates to confirm once resolved.

This issue is resolved for printing Connecticut tax returns for 2023 after a software update was applied today.
