Can I run TurboTax on linux, come October?

there is no native Turbotax that will run on linux. However, search the internet for possible workarounds

Linux is not a supported platform at this time, no. If they are abandoning an existing 25%+ market share platform, it seems unlikely they will new-develop/port to a fragmented 5% market share platform.
