How can I figure out where TurboTax is saving my files if they are not going to the default loaction? When I looked in Documents>TurboTax I found my returns for 2012 through 2014 but nothing later. However, TurboTax (after a very long search) found my 2015 return and copied information from it into my 2016 return.

Yes, you can delete an incomplete tax return using TurboTax Windows.

By default, the TurboTax software saves your tax return files in the My Documents > TurboTax folder.

Simply navigate to My Documents > TurboTax and then delete the tax file by highlighting it and clicking the Delete key (or right-clicking it and choosing Delete).

If you are using TurboTax Online, you can use the Clear and Start Over feature.
