breakdown in Tax Summary

I'm using Premier for Windows (TurboTax Desktop).  In Tax Summary (under "Tools" in the menu bar), I see my taxes.  It starts with a Tentative tax and adds a lump-sum for "Additional taxes".  How can I see a breakdown of those additional taxes?  Thanks.

P.S. I will be receiving a tax refund.

Don't go by any Summary or Review screens.  Check the actual tax return.

You have the Desktop program.  Switch to Forms Mode and open the 1040 return.  Taxes are on lines 16-23.  Some of the extra taxes will come from Schedule 2, open that.   You can look around at everything.  If you don't understand an amount post back with the line #.

Log in to your tax return at TurboTax.com.

  1. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen (you may need to click on Continue in the center first).
  2. Click on Tools.
  3. In the box that pops up in the center, click on View Tax Summary.

You can also preview your 1040.

@CatinaT1, I'm not using the Online product.

P.S. I tried to select the edition in my original post, but the edition's tag didn't save.

Click on Forms in the upper right hand corner.

This will show you all your forms. You can find what your additional taxes are in the forms.
