Box 7 Distribution code(s) 4D

Box 7 Distribution code(s) 4D.  Stuck in a loop and unable to bypass.  I was unable to describe investment IRA, 403b, Other - just got stuck in a loop.  No matter what I selected, the system would come back stating I didn't answer the question.  Called online Intuit professional at 1:35pm today.  He saw code 7D is an open issue, but no mention of 4D.  Transferred to another professional.  It was determined there is no work around; therefore, I have to file by mail.   She walked me through to ensure I was able to file by mail.  Should I be entitled to a portion of the fees back?  Both Intuit professionals were great!

No. Just because you filed your taxes by mail does not entitle you to a refund.

If it were my choice, filing by mail would not warrant a refund.  It was not my choice.  Why use an online system that blocks you from filing online?  This is a system error not allowing the user to enter non-403b option.  My refund will take weeks/months when it could be in my bank account now.

Filing by mail will typically only delay your refund by a week or so in my experience.
