Box 13 Retirement Plan

My previous employer mailed by 2025 W-2 and I noticed that the Box 13 Retirement Plan Box was not checked. I have an amount in 12-D and did contribute to a 401K while I was there. Do I need to get a corrected W-2 from them and do I need to wait until I receive before I can file my taxes for 2025?

You can still file your retun in TurboTax even if Box 13 on your W-2 is not checked. However, you should still inform your employer about the missing information.  Code D in Box 12 indicates to TurboTax that you are covered by a retirement plan at work.
