Another K3 Question

I have a K1 from my law firm that includes a K3 that shows foreign taxes paid in multiple countries.  It appears that Turbotax will only allow me to show taxes paid for one country.  The amounts are substantial so I don't wat to ignore the issue.  And for Foreign branch income, "various" is not an option.  Will this be fixed?  When?  If not, can I do a workaround by inputing the data directly on the Form 1116 (using multiple Form 1116 like I have had to do in the past)?

I must say that Turbotax's support of Form 1116 and related foreign tax issues has gone from poor to nearly worthless.

If you are using a TurboTax Online version to complete your return, "Various" is the 6th option down in the dropdown list.

If you are using a TurboTax Desktop version to complete your return and you do not see it on the list you may need to update your software.  To do this you can follow these steps:

  1. Open TurboTax and select Check for Updates from the Online menu near the top.
  2. On a Mac, simply quit and reopen TurboTax. If there are any updates, you'll be prompted to download them.
