Amended return

I amended my tax return this year and had to send it in via mail, sent in some 1098-Ts for my wife and I from school and should get a substantial amount of money back. How do I see the status on this and when will I receive my additional return?

The IRS will take up to 20 weeks or longer to process an amended tax return.
