AGI

The AGI I entered for identification is perfectly accurate. I still get a rejection.

Try using a Zero.  Allot of 2020 returns were processed late by the IRS, so your original AGI for 2020 would get rejected if the IRS processed your return late.

My e-file for 2021 was rejected by Federal and State - this happened last year too.

I eventually sent paper copy of my taxes and a check.  This seems endless!

What shall I do?

Try entering a 0 (zero) for the 2020 AGI and e-file the 2021 tax return again.

What is the rejection code?

If the IRS is rejecting the 2021 e-filed tax return for the 2020 AGI then try entering a 0 (zero) for the 2020 AGI and e-file the 2021 tax return again.

Ok, I will try using Zero.
