5 e-files question

On our 5th efile the form was rejected by IRS for simple error that TT could not have known. TT sends email, we click on link in email to fix error, opens our return, we fix error, run all checks again, go to efile and TT says we have reached our 5 maximum and cannot efile.  QUESTION: Does TT now recognize this return as one of the original allowed 5? Is there a way to file this efile instead of printing it? It was part of the 5.

Thanks, I have spend 40 minutes on phone with TT and cannot get anyone to understand my question.

how simple an error?

If you corrected the SSN for example, it is considered a new e-File.

SSN, but it is TT that is saying "cannot efile because 5 limit has been reached".

Thank you. It took you 1 minute to answer something TT 'tax experts' could not for 40 minutes and 2 phone calls.

As I said above, TT is going to count the number of returns with different SSN

If the return is simple enough  and you don't want to file on paper

you can reenter the tax data here
