3rd Stimulus

So the great TurboTax deposit my stimulus check into someone else’s account they couldn’t catch that my name and Social Security number was not on that account.

No. Your bank account information is obtained by the IRS from your most recently filed tax return or information entered in Get My Payment.

In addition, if the account was closed or no longer active (or if your name is not on the account), the bank is required to return the deposit. Your payment will be issued as a check to the address the IRS has on file for you. This is generally the address on your most recent tax return or as updated through the United States Postal Service (USPS).
