I'm trying to import 1099-Rs from Fidelity. The forms are available for me to download directly from Fidelity, but TT tells me that No Documents Currently Available For Import. It goes on to say that no 1099s will be available until Friday, January 31 at 00:00:00 PT.
What gives?
Fidelity forms have been available to download for a while, but there is NO way to login to Fidelity Investments in TurboTax. When selecting Fidelity Investments, TurboTax opens a "blank" page with no option to login.
Fidelity says this is a TurboTax issue.
Called Fidelity today 02/25/25 and they insist that the import delay is TT problem. So we've entered the finger pointing stage. What's TT's position on this?
If you're using TurboTax Online, download a PDF of your 1099's to your desktop. Enter your 1099-INT/DIV's as a total in those sections. A PDF of your 1099-B's can be attached to your tax file.
If you're using TurboTax Desktop, type Fidelity in the search window at the import page, then double-click on it in the search results below. You'll get a Fidelity pop-up, and Continue.
A new browser tab opens, 'Let's get your forms'.
If you can give more details, we'll try to help.
