2014 App crashes on launch

I'm attempting to run 2014 turbo tax. It loaded fine on to the drive but crashes at start up.

 

In a previous post, someone mentioned a patch that repaired a java script and fixed the problem. When I spoke to a support person they said they had not heard of such a patch.

 

I'm starring at a dead line and need some help. Any ideas?

 

I'm currently running Mac OS 10.15.3.

2014 is no longer supported and the "fix" link has been removed.

This is the original problem:

TurboTax 2014 and 2015 crash on Mac 10.13.4 (and later).

That is a known issue that seems to have been created by Apple with a change in OSX 10.13.4. There was no problem with OSX 10.13.3.

Since this is not a defect in the TurboTax software, but is due to a change that Apple made which causes an internal Apple java script function to crash while reading an embedded java script component in the TurboTax application, TurboTax will not be issuing any update to the TurboTax software.
