To clarify, did you use the Pay with my Refund for your TurboTax fees?
Were the amounts charged the same?
Yes I used pay with my refund and no the amounts are not the same I’m being charged extra on the sbtpg site .

The Deluxe fee was $39 plus another $39 if you had a state return PLUS another $39 fee to have the first 2 fees withheld from your federal refund. Check the PDF of the return (with the worksheets) to see the banking agreement you signed and all the fees.
If you have filed your federal tax return and it has been accepted by the IRS -
To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.
This will take you back to the 2021 online tax return.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.
Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets

To contact TurboTax customer service/support use their contact website during business hours. If the problem concerns any type of refund for fees, use the key words billing issues and do Not use the word Refund or you will get a phone number for tax refunds.

Same here! I sent a message to SBTPG a week ago with no response! This didn't appear until Thursday of last week. Before it only showed the two $39 fees. I did not agree to a 1st Refund Transfer fee for $40!
Please reach out to TurboTax Customer Support to have agent review the fees with you. To get you to the right person, use the keywords billing issues.

And when I call Sbtpg the automated system tells me they received my application for fast cash advanced it is processing. Why? So last year was the irs and this year it’s the preparers and banks smh go figure.
This fee was also added to my total it went from $119 to $160 yet we have no answers as to why we are being charge an additional $40, that was not anywhere in the fine print
I’m def disputing the $40 extra because I didn’t agree to it and turbo tax never told me anything about it
I'm having the same issue yet TurboTax never advised we would be paying additional fees since the funds get distributed by tpg

If you have an additional $40 fee from SBTPG over and above the $39 refund processing fee, than that charge is from the third party processor, Santa Barbara Tax Product Group. You will need to contact SBTPG about this fee and why you are being charged.

I think Santa Barbara Group charges an additional fee if their attempt to direct deposit your refund into your account fails, and they have to issue you a paper check.

Same mine didn't return I was sent a direct deposit of the rest so I'm assuming that's possibly there platform fee but TurboTax didn't advise there would be additional fees from santa barbara
For 2021 there is no extra bank processing fees ... they only withhold the TT fees.
