[1099T] Cannot get pass the "Date Acquired must be entered"

Hi,

I am trying to file a tax return and one of my income is from a brokerage account - Webull. When I import it and move on, TurboTax doesn't allow me to get pass this page even though I have entered the date correctly according to the tax document. Any suggestions?

FYI, I cannot manually adding "4+ trade" total for these, because Massachusetts state requires these sales to be explicit. If not, I won't be able to pass state tax as well (I even tried it to make sure, didn't work).

Any help is greatly appreciated,
Thanks!

If the Date you entered is still giving you an error try to  enter the keyword "various". However, you must determine the holding period.

In addition go to the Forms mode and look at the 1099-B form.  See if the transaction has any area's highlighted.  If so this may help identify the error.

To switch to Forms Mode, open your return, and then select the Forms icon in the upper-left corner of TurboTax (or select View from the top menu, then Go to Forms).

The Federal Information Worksheet will display and all the forms in your return will be listed on the left side. Simply select a form to open it.

To switch back to the interview, select the EasyStep icon in the upper-left corner, or choose Go to EasyStep from the View menu.

Tips

  • In the interview, you can also view the underlying tax form by selecting Show Form at the bottom of your screen.
  • It's OK to switch to Forms Mode if you want to look at a form or two, but constantly switching back and forth between Forms Mode and the interview has been known to cause problems and data corruption.
